From 12 March Hungarian universities were ordered to close down as part of the package of measures taken to contain the epidemic. For the time being we operate on the optimistic assumption that the efforts to beat the virus will be successful, and the closure will be lifted in time so that BESU can take place as planned. In practical terms this means that (1) we continue to process applications; however, (2) we do don’t expect you to pay the tuition fee until we announce that BESU will indeed take place. (Those who apply before 30 April qualify for the early bird fee.) In case we need to cancel BESU, all fees paid so far will be fully refunded.
You will receive another update as soon as the situation changes, which might not happen before May. Until then stay healthy!
