Due to the COVID-19 (coronavirus) outbreak, we have decided to cancel the ELTE Business Economics Summer University 2020. We are very sorry for the cancellation, but the decision was made with student and staff safety in mind. All payments made to us will be reimbursed in full.
Next year we’ll be back the same or similar courses and hope to see you then! Please don’t hesitate to contact us in case of any additional questions.

The payment should arrive by

  • Early bird: 30 April
  • Ordinary: 30 June

Fee includes:

  • participation in one course 
  • evening talks
  • certificate of participation
  • transcript for ECTS transfer (if requested)
  • Wifi on campus 
  • limited printing facility at the Institute’s Student Office
  • welcome reception
  • coffee and refreshments in the breaks

Fee does not include:

  • accommodation
  • travel to Budapest
  • local transportation
  • health insurance
  • cost of social/cultural programs (e.g. museum tickets)

ELTE Students and Alumni

ELTE students and alumni (holding ELTE Alumni Card) are entitled to the early bird discount until June 30. They can also pay in HUF, in which case the fee is 89000 HUF.


Tution fee
Applicants are entitled to a 50% refund of the tuition fee until the summer university starts. Applicants who cannot attend because they are not granted visa will receive 100% refund. To request the refund, applicants are required to send an email with the subject line “Request for refund” to in which they declare that they will not participate in the Summer University and request a refund, and attach the scanned copy of the refund data sheet. If the reason for asking for a refund is that the applicant was not granted visa, the official notification also needs to be attached. Note that due to the regulations applying to Hungarian universities refunding is likely to take several months.

Residence Hall
In case of cancellation until 
31 May: 100% refund.
30 June: 50% refund.
